EPR at Kentucky Bourbon Festival

At Estes Public Relations, we’re always thrilled to be on-site supporting our clients. At the 2023 Kentucky Bourbon Festival, our team provided on-site support all three days.

Held in the Bourbon Capital of the World, the Kentucky Bourbon Festival draws bourbon lovers to Bardstown, Kentucky, each year to celebrate the storied history of distilling America’s native spirit during National Bourbon Heritage Month. The annual festival features opportunities for bourbon enthusiasts to engage with the most sought-after brands and engaging educational experiences.

While on-site, we helped guide attending media and influencers to the designated media tent and premium events and ensured the media tent was accommodating for on-site media and influencers to work and create content during the festival. We assisted with arranging interviews with master distillers and KYBF organizers as needed for media attendees. And, we helped with on-site social media and ticket check-in.

In addition to being on-site, we worked with local, regional and national media and influencers to cover different aspects of the festival before and during the event. We also created and distributed press releases around the event, sent out targeted media pitches, oversaw the media comp ticket program, helped with program content, assisted with programing, created a crisis comms plan, reviewed and edited e-newsletters and created and maintained a media kit.

In our 20 year history, EPR has worked on numerous events in varying capacity, from full-scale event planning, coordination and promotion with James Beard Foundation’s Taste America; to promotion and on-site media coordination, social media management and photography for the Bourbon Women Association’s SIPosium; to culinary media relations for Bourbon & Beyond. Let us leverage our extensive event experience to make your next festival, conference or other event the best yet!
