Tracy Green is a storyteller at heart. Throughout 20 years in communications, she’s excelled at connecting with audiences through engaging content. Working at EPR allows her to be immersed in some of her favorite areas — food, beverage, travel and hospitality.
Part of the EPR team since 2017, she started at EPR as an account executive and was promoted to senior account executive in 2020 and named the company’s managing director in 2023.
Tracy’s career started at a weekly newspaper in 2001 while she was still in high school, and she has written for numerous publications in Louisville and across the region, garnering awards from the Kentucky Press Association and Society of Professional Journalists, amongst others.
Tracy left journalism to implement a communications program at Oldham County Schools, the state’s eighth-largest public school district. While there, she earned recognition from the Kentucky School Public Relations Association and was named a Rising Star recipient by the International Association of Business Communicators of Louisville and the Public Relations Society of America, Bluegrass Chapter.
Since joining EPR, Tracy has received awards from the International Festivals and Events Association as well as the PRSA Bluegrass Chapter, including numerous Landmarks awards. In 2024, she was named the first recipient of PRSA Bluegrass’ Pinnacle PR Award.
Tracy is a graduate of the University of Louisville, where she majored in communications and was president of the Lambda Pi Eta communications honor society. She is a past-president of the PRSA Bluegrass chapter and currently serves on the board of advisors for The Bird’s Nest, the University of Louisville’s student marketing agency.
In addition to her writing and public relations background, Tracy is also involved in the fitness and wellness industry. She’s finished 16 marathons and qualified twice to represent Team USA at the World Championships for duathlon. She is also a certified Pilates, barre and spin instructor who teaches in Louisville.
